Neither FanDuel or DraftKings will be offering Westminster Dog Show betting this year, but BetUS certainly will be.
That's right Folks, BetUS goes to the dogs this weekend as one of the most wagered on novelty-type events takes place May 11-14.
The Westminster Dog Show is considered a sport and is one of a handful of popular animal showcasing May sporting events that include the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. It is second only to the Kentucky Derby in terms of continuously held sporting events in the United States, having begun in May 8, 1877.
Westminster Dog Show is one of the three major dog shows held in the United States with the National Dog Show now looking to become a Thanksgiving Day tradition. AKC National Championship makes up the third event.
This year's favorite to win is Terrier with a payout of $300 for every $100 bet.
