2012 Stanley Cup Finals – Game 5 Betting Odds

The 2012 Stanley Cup Finals Game 5 betting odds for the Kings vs. Devils had New Jersey at -105 and LA at -115.  Los Angeles leads the series 3-1 and could win the Stanley Cup Saturday evening.  Betting on this game was available at WagerWeb.com here

Should the Kings win, this would be their first NHL title since coming into the league in 1967.  The Kings haven't lost on the road since the playoffs started two months ago. They are 10-0, including two overtime wins Games 1 and 2 at New Jersey.

"This series, we could easily be down," Kings forward Justin Williams said. "We haven't played our best hockey. We know that in our room. That's obviously an advantage for us that we know we can be better in all facets of the game, not one little thing. We can be a lot better. We haven't shown them exactly what we are all about. That's disheartening for us. The encouraging thing is we are up 3-1."

Might as well throw out all the trends as LA has defied nearly all of them.

But for those of you who care, the Kings are 15-3 in their last 18 road games vs. a team with a winning home record while the Devils are 10-4 in their last 14 home games and  are 19-9 in their last 28 overall.

This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
