The 2012 Preakness favorites were being offered up at different payout odds across the board online.  Gambling911.com always recommends shopping for the very best price out there.

Bodemeister was the 8/5 favorite at WagerWeb.com heading into Saturday’s race.  These odds were pretty consistent across the board.

Doug O'Neill isn’t bothered by the fact that his Kentucky Derby winning horse I’ll Have Another is not favored in this weekend’s Preakness Stakes.  Bodemeister's trainer Bob Baffert has won the race five times in 11 tries, O’Neill told CBS News.

"I totally respect that. I just hope anyone who bets Bodemeister is regretting it Saturday night," O'Neill said earlier in the week.

The best payout odds on I’ll Have Another could be found at Sportsbook:  3/1.

There are a total of four Preakness Stakes 2012 contenders with single digit odds.  Only Bodemeister and I’ll Have Another should be listed better than 10/1, we believe.

Nevertheless, there was some action coming in on Creative Cause and Went The Day Well, both at 8/1 odds at Sportsbook, the best out there
