These 2012 Kentucky Derby current odds were ready for betting during the overnight and early morning hours of Saturday May 5, the day of the big race. These odds were almost certainly going to fluctuate throughout the afternoon Saturday, the hours leading up to the race. Gambling911.com is encouraging readers to place their bets as early as possible or at least set up their accounts.
Bodemeister – Bookmaker.eu had been offering odds on this co-favorite at +450 but has finally dropped a half point to where everyone else is at 4/1.
Daddy Long Legs – Bookmaker had him at 30/1 odds. Some books were listing Daddy Long Legs as low as 18/1. You can get double your money at Bookmaker.
Daddy Nose Best – Had odds at Bookmaker that were about a point better than most online race books.
Union Rags – The value can be found at WagerWeb.com, which was offering Union Rags at +450 odds compared to 4/1 elsewhere. Get down on Union Rags here now before this price changes, which it most certainly will (probably by late morning).
Gemologist – WagerWeb.com had the best odds we have seen on Gemologist thus far, 7 to 1, and you better get down on this price now. Check to see if it is still available at the time you are reading this. He hasn’t moved off of 6/1 all week and some books are moving Gemologist to 5/1.
Creative Cause – 12/1 at WagerWeb.com.
El Padrino – 20/1 odds at WagerWeb.com.
Prospective – 40/1 odds was the best price we could find, potentially paying out $400 on a $10 bet at WagerWeb.com here.
Take Charge Indy – The best number was at WagerWeb.com, 14/1, compared to 10/1 at some books.
Dullahan – was getting 8/1 odds at Belmont.com, which was a half to one point better than most other online racebooks.
Done Talking – This long shot had current odds of winning the 2012 Kentucky Derby at 50/1 at Belmont.com.
Hansen – 10/1 odds at Belmont.com.
I’ll Have Another – 12/1 at Belmont.com.
Optimizer, Trinniberg, Liaison, Roaring Sermon and Done Talking were all the biggest longshots with 50/1 odds at Belmont.com. The payout would be $5000 on a $100 bet or $500 on a $10 bet.
