The Titans are a team that has shown some major strength at times, but they are going to have more than what they push out against the 49ers this past weeks. The St. Louis Rams aren’t exactly an amazing team this year either, and it’s a far cry from the big Super Bowl clash that pitted these two teams together.

The Titans are going to be rested and will have to face a Rams team that was punished by the Seattle Seahawks, which makes this game all the more intriguing. The major analysts are split here, with no one getting more of an edge than they may deserve. Even so, the Titans may have the edge here with acquisitions and healthy players come back on board as well as the week off to lick their wounds that were inflicted by a San Francisco team that is starting to really come into their own. The Rams of course still have some upside, with a few interesting points on the defensive side of things, when they are playing the right type of game.
Everything seems to be pointing to an easy victory for the Tennessee Titans, especially with so many talking about how the Rams put a lot of people on the bench thanks to injury. Jake Locker is definitely going to push the game in his own direction, and while some may be calling this a war, it may be less than stellar for the Rams.
The Match Up:
The Home Field advantage is always something worth looking into, but it’s going to be more than just the hometown crowd to get a team moving forward against what very well be a good Titans offense and defense. With Sam Bradford out, perhaps the game will turn into something of a very interesting thing to witness, especially if it does in fact turn into a back and forth defensive struggle with a low combined score overall. At the end of the day, we’ll be seeing Tennessee get a win – 3 and the combined score may not get too high.
