The San Diego Chargers will be going to the East this week in a road game that could have them trying to take down a Redskins team that could still have some major upside. The Chargers will have to put in some serious work in order to make this game interesting, and even though they are getting favored, the Redskins aren’t going to just roll over.

The Washington Redskins have a secondary that is not exactly great, however, they have been improving a bit. They were able to not only stop Denver for a time, they looked great doing it. They may not have come out looking amazing, but there is enough to work with there that may have some analysts calling this game a Redskins victory solely on the strength of some of the defensive performances that will come out this week. That doesn’t mean that Rivers and the Chargers are going to be easy to take down, even though they aren’t quite the same team as Denver is right now.
What about RGIII? He is going to be a factor and this week you will see a much improved version, even though it has been said before, it will occur again and prove to be an excellent game for him, especially for those that are wondering whether or not to play him during the fantasy football picks this week. Last week’s game may have gotten Griffin second guessing a lot of things and missing out on some key plays, but that is going to change this week, which is something that should intrigue most sports fans.
The Match Up:
The Chargers have one good quarterback, and if Peyton Manning doesn’t get the MVP this season, some are saying that Rivers is one of the candidates. He has a good passing percentage, and has a great deal of passing touchdowns. He has performed well thus far this season and the Chargers are doing a decent job of making their presence felt in the NFL right now. The Redskins will have to contend with a lot of of offensive power and while San Diego didn’t look so hot in some of their games, they are still dangerous. This is a close one, but we’re going to go with the Washington Redskins at +1 with a good game from RGIII.
