PITCHING MATCHUP: Nationals RH Anibal Sanchez (7-6, 3.67 ERA) vs. Mets RH Jacob deGrom (7-7, 2.77)

Sanchez has not lost since May 10 and is coming off a win at San Francisco in which he allowed two runs - one earned - and four hits over six innings. The Venezuela native worked at least six innings in eight of his last 10 starts and posted seven quality starts in that span. Sanchez worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings in his lone start against the Mets in May before leaving with a hamstring strain that sent him to the injured list.

DeGrom is 4-2 with a 2.08 ERA over his last 14 starts and scattered two runs on five hits across seven innings against Miami to pick up a win on Monday. The Stetson product worked seven innings in each of his last four turns and yielded a total of three runs while striking out 38 in that span. DeGrom is making his third start against Washington this season and allowed a total of one run and seven hits while striking out 18 across 12 innings in the first two chances.

The home team has won the last eight meetings and the Mets have won seven of the last nine versus Washington.

The Mets have won nine of their last ten overall and are 21-5 in their last 26 overall, making them one of the hottest teams in Major League Baseball right now. The value might not be here though with a price of -192.
