As of May 30, the White Sox were on a six game losing streak.  OUCH!

White Sox relievers allowed 14 runs, 15 hits and eight walks over 6 1/3 innings in the three-game series versus the Kansas City Royals.  Chicago’s bullpen were 1-7 in its past 17 games.

''It's a tough three days for the bullpen,'' White Sox manager Robin Ventura said. ''You had opportunities, and you let those slip away. So, you've got to grind through it and be tough. Offensively we fought back and still got ourselves in position.'

The White Sox Probable Starting Pitchers:

Jose Quintana (5-4, 2.22) May 30 - Quintana is currently on a three-game losing streak and has never faced the Mets.  Harvey has also lost three straight.  He enjoyed a one-hit shutout of the White Sox in his loan start against them three years ago.  Quintana has managed to pitched into the 7th inning or beyond in a few of his starts this season.  We can see that happening today as well.  The White Sox have not gone OVER 7 in his last nine starts.

Mat Latos (6-1, 4.06) May 31 – Latos has permitted just 20 hits off of 90 at bats vs. the current Mets roster.  Despite a win his last start, Latos had allowed 11 hits in two of previous last four and five runs in two of his previous four starts.

Carlos Rodon (2-4, 4.24) June 3 - Rodon didn't earn a decision in the White Sox's 8-7 loss to the Royals on Saturday. He surrendered six hits, an earned run and two walks over five innings, while also striking out three.  It was his best performance in May nonetheless.

Ways for White Sox bookies to reduce their losses in 2016:

*Provide your players with live in-play betting through use of a proven offshore Pay Per Head provider such as Gambling911.com endorsed PremierPerHead.com.

*Let your players bet futures for the White Sox to win the 2016 World Series.  The odds of this happening are slim.  But a few diehards will put money on it happening just as long as you are willing to take their bet.

*Trust the Pay Per Head linesmakers.  You may find a line for a particular starting pitcher a little too attractive to sports bettors but there may be a reason behind this (Pitcher A past performance versus a particular team or left-handers).

*Encourage other forms of gambling such as player prop bets, parlays and totals wagering.
