Gambling911.com has your Braves vs. Nationals series betting pick and DFS plays for Saturday’s game.  The series has gone OVER the current total of 7.5 in the last four meetings and we see that trend continuing today with the announced starting pitchers. G911 will be on the OVER 7.5.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Braves RH Julio Teheran (3-1, 3.82 ERA) vs. Nationals RH Doug Fister (2-1, 2.61)

We love that both these starters are coming off of solid pitching efforts following poor performances and that neither has pitched especially well against the opposing team.

Teheran gave up seven runs (three earned) against Washington on April 28 in Atlanta.

Fister struggled in his first outing against the Braves on April 27, giving up five runs (four earned) on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Teheran has permitted 7 or more hits in every other game he has started (his last game, he allowed only 3). Four of six have gone OVER the current total.

Fister has permitted 4 or more hits in his five starts this season  Two of those games went over while another hit 7.

Fister has had difficulties against Kelly Johnson (3-for-6 at bats with 2 RBIs and a homerun).  Alberto Callaspo is 7-for-19 against Fister but has struggled a bit of late.

Nick Markakis is your man on the Braves roster.  He’s gone 8-for-24 against Fister with eight RBIs.
