While Americans cannot bet at Irish bookmaker Paddy Power, the UK’s third largest bookmaker continues to be the only wagering establishment offering betting on all the US GOP primaries and caucuses, including odds on Super Tuesday.

Mitt Romney’s odds of winning 5.5 states on Super Tuesday were listed at 1/6, making this occurrence almost inevitable, at least in the eyes of European oddsmakers.

The former Massachusetts Governor was a 200/1 ‘lock’ to win in that state.

Newt Gingrich should carry Georgia at 50/1 odds.

Tennessee remained tight between Romney and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum at 4/5 and 6/5 odds, respectively.

Ohio had Mitt Romney as the 1/7 favorite, however, Santorum did have some value at 7/2.

Oklahoma appeared to be Santorum’s for the taking with 1/7 odds while Romney came in at 6/1 and Gingrich at 8/1 odds.

Romney was a 1/80 odds favorite to take Vermont.

Some other states were not available for betting at press time.
