The numbers don’t lie and the WSOP Circuit Events at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City for 2011 have had another great showing.  Event One numbers were off a bit from last year’s 1250 players, however, Event Two was up by approximately the difference.

The next three events that followed drew big, if not spectacular, fields and some decent prize pools, the Atlantic City Weekly noted.

Event 3 of the circuit stop was a $500 + $55 No Limit tournament that drew 288 players and a prize pool of $139,680. That’s not bad for one of the circuit’s higher buy-ins.

The winner was Michael Linster of Levittown NY who takes home $35,529. Linster now has about $150K in tournament winnings, all of which came in A.C. or Connecticut.

Event 4 was another $300 + $45 event that drew a healthy 555 players and a $161K prize pool. It was won by a true amateur, Dustin Manns of Media Pa., who registers his first win and takes home $33,922.

And Event 5, another $500 + $55 event that’s still underway drew 340 players.

The majority of players originated from the states of New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
