World Poker Tour Venice 2011

The World Poker Tour Venice 2011 had 158 out of 200 remaining after Day 1a but the WPT was brutally honest of its assessment.

In truth, the turnout for Day 1a was poor after the excitement of the record busting WPT Prague. That being said we are hoping for a much bigger field for Day 1b and we are sure it will include a few players who decide to take advantage of the re-entry stipulation. Those likely to re-enter are Marvin Rettenmaier, John Eames, Giovanni Rizzo, Sam El Sayed, Scott Baumstein, Nicolo Calia and the Speranza Brothers (Gianluca and Alessandro) - all eight players failing to find the right mixture of luck and skill to survive in a relatively inexperienced field.
