UNCASVILLE, CT (January 5, 2008) - Mohegan Sun will start the New Year off right with its second major poker tournament, Mohegan Sun's Winter Chill Poker Tournament, February 7th - 15th. As the second major tournament since opening the room on August 29th, this nine-day event will conclude with a three-day Main Event beginning on Friday, February 13th.

"We are extremely excited to be hosting our second major poker tournament since opening the new room back in August," said Bruce Dixon, Director of Poker for Mohegan Sun. "Our first tournament in October was a huge success, with a larger turnout than we had anticipated, so we are hopeful that our Winter Chill Tournament will be even bigger and better."

It's nine straight days of No Limit Hold 'Em poker at Mohegan Sun this February, beginning with a Shoot Out event on Saturday, February 7th. The next day, it's all about the women as Mohegan Sun hosts it's first-ever Ladies Only event. The week continues with No Limit Hold ‘Em cash events and culminates with a three-day Main Event with a buy-in of $2,300 and a $200.00 entry fee.
