Well known tournament player DICKHOLDEM wins UBOC Event #10 for $51,330 and FUTUREPROQQ, UB’s Yearly MTT TLB runner-up, surges to top spot in UBOC Event #8 the all-new Wednesday NLH tourney at 16:05 ET.

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA (Thursday, January 20th, 2011) – UB’S Online Poker Championship Series, which guarantees over $5 Million in tournament money and competition prizes, continued on Wednesday, January 19th with Events 8, 9 and 10 of the UBOC6 tournament schedule’s 29 guaranteed events.

Team UB’s Tiffany Michelle hosted last night’s UBOC6 Event #10, the $500+30 buy-in NLH Deep Stack 6-Max, a $250K Guaranteed tourney.

“I’m having a lot of fun with the UBOC this year. It has the same excitement for me as arriving in Vegas to play a summer of WSOP events,” said Team UB’s Michelle.

514 online poker players competed for a share of the $257,000 prize pool.  A number of Team UB Pros turned out for the $250K GTD event, including TIFFANY M (433rd), ERIC_BALDWIN (418th), and Absolute Poker Pro TRISHELLE_C, who finished up in 107th place.

Final table play kicked off just after 03:20 ET. It took a good hour and a half to get to the last hand of the night, and when it came down to heads up between DICKHOLDEM with 1,298,024 in chips versus FINGERS13 with 1,271,976, the pair agreed to chop the pot evenly for $46,330 a piece, and duke it out for the remaining $5K, the title and the UBOC watch.

In the end, it was well known tournament player DICKHOLDEM holding Ad-Jd who emerged as top dog on the day against FINGERS13’s pocket nines. The Flop comes 8d-8s-Ah. FINGERS13 Bets $176,400, DICKHOLDEM Calls. The 8c is delivered on the Turn, FINGERS13 Bets again, DICKHOLDEM Raises All-In. The River brings the Ac, and the Showdown reveals DICKHOLDEM’s Full House, aces full of eights; it’s just too good for FINGERS13’s Full House, eights full of aces.
