The third largest online poker room catering to US players as well as those across the world, UB.com, has joined forces with the Global Poker League and the World Cup of Poker to offer players side event entries for the 2011 World Series of Poker and Cool UB Swag.

As the biggest international poker league running 24/7 with a fully automated league system, the GPL partnership will give UB players access to a worldwide community of like-minded players looking for the three C’s of poker – competition, camaraderie and cash.

For six months from November 15th, GPL players who register through UB.com can join the Sit & Go action at 19 designated GPL Sit & Go Tables, with buy-ins ranging from as low as $1 up to $11, and the choice of 6-handed, 9-handed or 18-player Sit & Go events.

UB players can sign up for the ‘GPL Single Masters’, which recognizes individual player performance, and if they feel like gathering a trio of poker buddies, they can also participate in the ‘GPL Team Masters’ by creating and managing their own poker team.

Each time they take a seat at one of the special GPL tables, they’ll not only be earning leaderboard points, but UB will donate $0.10 of their rake to the end of season Masters Prize Pool, so the more players involved, the higher the prize pool will grow.

The six-month season is divided into three periods of 50 days, with prizes to be won at the end of each in both league categories. At the completion of every 50-day period, the top ten points earners on the singles and teams league ladders can exchange their points for some killer UB merchandise.

The top 50% of each period make it to the playoffs at the end of the season, competing for a big prize pool in the Masters tournament. UB will award the top three in the Single Masters, and each member of the winning team in the Team Masters with a $3,000 ticket to a 2011 WSOP* side event of choice. In addition, 70% of the cash Masters Prize Pool will be allocated to the Players Masters and 30% to the Team Masters.

GPLnow.com is a free service and allows poker players from all over the world to play each other in a unique automated league system. Get in on the GPL action for a share of some cool UB merchandise, thousands of dollars in WSOP* tournament entries, and added prize money.
