Online poker player Tom Durrrr Dwan managed to finish in the money for the first time in over two weeks Thursday, beating out Brian Townsend and Cole South, to land successive wins of $244k and $299k respectively.

From PokerTableRatings.com:

There's no doubt lady luck was favouring durrrr who seemed to be a set magnet throughout Thursday's action, but if anyone deserved it, it was durrrr. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the hot streak that has eluded him for over a year. He seems to be becoming a regular heads up challenger to the Cardrunner pros and here is a break down of how he has fared against them so far:

Opponent

Hands

Durrrr's Profit

Brian Townsend

6,845

$1,069,862.50

Brian Hastings

1585

-$452,020.55

Cole South

10,914

-$474,465.75

For Durrrr it's been a rollercoaster ride in terms of wins and losses to kick off the year.

Just this past week Isildur1 managed to take away $120k from Durrrr.
