Yesterday, Canadian audiences got their first taste of the UB.net sponsored Poker2Nite television show, fronted by Team UB Pro Joe Sebok and longtime poker journalist Scott Huff. The Score Television Network is airing the weekly poker news program every Sunday from January 10th through February 14th in their weekend prime time slots of 15:00 EST and 17:30EST for the remainder of the run of season.

"Seebs" and Huff made the transition from radio to television at the helm of Poker2Nite in November last year on Fox Sports Net ("FSN"). Now entering the second half of the thirteen-week series, the show has found its stride amongst discerning television audiences, and Canadian poker fanatics can enjoy all the week's breaking news from the world of live and online poker.

With the launch of Poker2Nite on The Score, the poker news program expands its reach beyond Fox Sports Net and outside of America. The Score Television Network is a national Sports Network, delivering news, information and live event Sports programming to more than 6.6 million Canadian homes.

UB.net continues to celebrate the growing popularity of the weekly show that deals out the inside scoop on the poker world by giving away a pair of UB WSOP Pro Packages in their free to play online poker promotion, the Poker2Nite Pro Challenge.

Sign up for a new UB.net account and play for a free WSOP package. You'll need to enter the special referral code to qualify for the Poker2Nite Pro Challenge, which players can discover by tuning into this week's episode of Poker2Nite. Once you've entered the correct referral code, an email will confirm your registration in the following Sunday's Poker2Nite Pro Challenge at 14:00ET.

If you think you've got what it takes to be a Pro, and you like your chances at the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, this is the best value poker promotion on the Net. Simply finish in the top two spots in a UB.net ‘Pro Challenge' to secure a UB WSOP Pro Package, which includes:

  •          Entry to the 2010 WSOP Main Event ($10,000 value)
  •          Up to $4,000 worth of expenses for flight and hotel
  •          Access to all UB.net parties and events at the 2010 WSOP
  •          A night with Joe Sebok and Scott Huff at Poker2Nite's exclusive WSOP party
  •          Exclusive training session with Annie Duke and/or Phil Hellmuth

For your shot at this prestigious prize package, catch the poker action every week on Poker2Nite. Canadian fans can find out what all the fuss is about every Sunday afternoon on The Score at 15:00 and 17:30 EST, while American viewers can watch Sebok and Huff, plus roving reporters Dana Workman and Absolute Poker Pro Lacey Jones every Wednesday on Fox Sports Net at 23:00 EST.

European audiences can still share in the fun on the Poker Channel Europe, but at the all-new viewer-friendly time slot of 20:00 CET, to be repeated on Saturdays at 20:00 CET.
