Poker News: Online Super Series III Kicks Off With $900,000 in Guarantees

San Jose, Costa Rica – Just a few weeks after sending dozens of players to compete for a million-dollar prize pool in Panama, leading online poker site Americas Cardroom is putting a record amount of cash on the table – this time entirely online. On March 28th, the poker site hosts OSS III, the third installment of their popular Online Super Series.

The weeklong poker tournament series features $900,000 in guarantees, including a $200,000 Main Event. And it's open to players in the US and around the world.

"Clearly, we don't believe in taking a break," stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "We're excited to see who conquers our latest tournament series. We've packed OSS III with more events players have been asking for, plus a few surprises. It's going to be great, every step of the way."

From March 28th to April 6th, Americas Cardroom is spreading $900,000 in guarantees over 63 separate online poker tournaments. Buy-ins for the tournaments range from just $0.52 to $530.

The Online Super Series culminates with a $200,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold'em tournament, scheduled for Sunday April 6th at 5:00pm ET. The poker tournament costs $200+$15 to get into and a number of low buy-in satellites for the tournament are now live. The event offers re-entries for the first five hours.

Players can also win their seat to the Main Event through freerolls, which run daily at 1:00pm and award seats in a nightly satellite. The freerolls are open to real money players and those who have never made a deposit.

OSS III also offers a Championship Leaderboard. Poker players will earn points for each event played and rank on the leaderboard. The first place winner will walk away with bragging rights, the OSS III title, and an all-expense paid luxury trip to the 2014 Punta Cana Poker Classic!

Registration for each tournament in OSS III is now open at Americas Cardroom. More information on the 2014 Online Super Series and all available satellites can be found at AmericasCardroom.eu.
