You gotta love a guy with pink hair.  French poker pro Guillaume Darcourt was leading this week’s EPT Barcelona Main Event coming into Monday with 195,3000 chips.

407 players were returning for Day 2 of the €5,300 Main Event tomorrow, which became Spain’s biggest poker tournament on record.  811 players in all competed for the prize, which pays just over US$1 million.

"One big pot, I had with aces against ace-king and, I don't know why, the guy shoved for 50,000 before the flop,” Darcourt said.  “But every other chip I had to fight with. I made my chips with some strange hands... like always."

The Frenchman finished 35th at this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event, cashing out at $242,636.  He has just shy of $1 million in live poker tournament winnings to date ($786,526).

Guillaume has enjoyed success on the European Poker Tour, winning the EPT Bucharest Main Event – No Limit Hold’em last year and the $180,528 that came with it.
