Over $1.25 Million in Guaranteed Prize Pools Up for Grabs at WPT Regional Series

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Time to tune-up the poker strategies for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open returning November 13 – December 2, 2013. During this World Poker Tour® (WPT®) Regional event, players can win their share of over $1,250,000 in guaranteed prize pools in a challenging 20-event series that will take place in The Poker Room at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

The series opens with a $125 buy-in No-limit Hold ‘em Deep Stack event featuring a $150,000 guarantee. The No-limit Hold ‘em Championship Event will be held November 29 – December 2 with a $1,650 buy-in for a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Rock ’n’ Roll Poker Open will have the added bonus of a leader board with added prizes for the top 20 point earners during the series. First place will receive a $5,300 entry into the $10,000,000 Guaranteed Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Main Event in April 2014, a two-night stay at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and a $200 gift certificate to Council Oak Steaks & Seafood; second place will receive a $5,300 entry into the Showdown Main Event; third through 20th place will receive a $575 entry for a Showdown Main Event Mega to be used during the month of December. 

On-site registration is already open for all of the events. (Registration fee is non-refundable.) To participate, players must be 18 and obtain a free “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club or in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise.
