San Jose, Costa Rica – There's only a few more days left in Americas Cardroom's OSS III, but if past tournament results are any indication, a record amount of money could be paid out in the next few days. The online poker site is reporting record payouts for all tournaments so far, including a $50,000 event that saw its guaranteed prize pool more than double last weekend.

"We expected a huge turnout for OSS III, but we're still blown away by the number of entries and the size of the prize pools," stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "We've already seen OSS III pay out way more than most expected, but we have a feeling things are just getting started."

So far, all but two tournaments have seen final prize pools surpass what was promised. And the numbers are staggering. Last Sunday, for example, the $50,000 NLHE High Roller event saw the final prize pool grow to a smashing $107,500. That's more than double what was guaranteed, a strong indication that this installment of the Online Super Series is on track to pay out well over $1 million.

From now until Sunday, April 6th, Americas Cardroom is continuing to spread $900,000 in guarantees over 63 separate online poker tournaments in the Online Super Series. Buy-ins for the tournaments range from just $0.52 to $530. Available tournaments include re-entry tournaments, hypers, bounty tournaments, mega stack, PLO and more.

On the docket for this weekend is a $50,000 Guaranteed event and a tournament featuring 10 packages for the LSOP Millions II (scheduled for this September). There are also a number of smaller tournaments with excellent guarantees and low buy-ins on the roster.

The Online Super Series leads up to a major $200,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold'em tournament on Sunday April 6th at 5:00pm ET. The poker tournament costs $200+15 to get into and a number of low buy-in satellites for the tournament are now live. The event offers re-entries for the first five hours.

OSS III also offers a Championship Leaderboard. Poker players earn points for each event played and rank on the leaderboard. The first place winner will walk away with bragging rights, the OSS III title, and an all-expense paid luxury trip to the 2014 Punta Cana Poker Classic. As of publication time, JustREBYLoL and Karoom_K are jockeying for first place, with just a few points separating the two players from the top spot.

Registration for each tournament in OSS III is now open at Americas Cardroom. More information on the 2014 Online Super Series and all available satellites can be found at AmericasCardroom.eu.
