Over the past week, online poker traffic had fallen 1.7 percent and seven of the top ten sites showed declines according to PokerScout.com

Merge Gaming, which joined forces with Sportsbook.com nine weeks ago, witnessed its first drop in traffic since that time.

This week's 3% drop still leaves Merge with nearly three times the traffic it had in April.

PartyPoker regained third place in the traffic rankings from iPoker Network, which managed to hold the spot for only two weeks. The two Euro-focused rivals are still locked in a tight race, separated by less than 2 percent.
