UltimateBet today announced Follow Friday Freeroll, a free online poker tournament scheduled for Friday, May 15th, exclusive to Twitter users who follow UltimateBet on the popular micro-blogging site. Online poker players can gain access to the free No Limit Hold'em tournament by following UltimateBet on Twitter under the name UltimateBet.

On Friday, May 15th, Twitter users can secure a seat in the free Texas Hold'em tournament by tweeting: #followfriday @ultimate_bet after becoming a follower of the online poker site. The code for the online poker freeroll will then be made available to Twitter users through Phil Hellmuth's Bubbletweet.

The Twitter tournament pays out a seat in UltimateBet's Sunday Sniper tournament where $40,000 in cash and prizes is on the line.

UltimateBet and its pros were among the first in the poker world to embrace Twitter, a social communication service that lets anyone stay connected through quick updates. Both Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke keep their fans up to date on what they're doing through the micro-blogging service and the online poker site itself also employs Twitter to help players stay informed of ongoing promotions, tournaments and contests.

Online poker players can start following UltimateBet on Twitter by typing www.twitter.com/ultimate_bet into their web browser.
