Online Poker Tournament News

The Online Championship Tournament continues with Tiffany Michelle playing host Friday night and one lucky player walking off with a cool $23,000 first place cashout.

The popular UB.com online poker tournament event has helped bring a shining light to an otherwise dark economic crisis.  UB.com had awarded one lucky player $34,360 just the night before.

The latest bounty was won by a poker player named HSNETH.

This was a $100K GTD event attracting some 550 players with the top 54 places getting paid according to UB.com officials.

A number of UB.com poker pros including WSOP bracelet record holder Phil Hellmuth, took part in the event.

Hellmuth got shut out at 241st place.  Tiffany Michelle fell at 239th place.

"I've recently starting playing short handed tournaments and I'm totally addicted. So, I was stoked to host the UBOC 6-max event. There's never a dull moment in 6-Max and my bust out was no exception, trips verses a boat. I'll get 'em next time," said Tiffany after the tournament came to an early close for her.

The prize pool was as follows:

1. B AUSTIN B - $23,500

2. HSNETH - $14,500

3. SGTGES - $10,000

4. MARCELEBOEUF - $7,150

5. ED_ANGELIS - $5,550

6. DONKMAGNET55 - $4,500

The next online poker tournament scheduled for this series at UB.com goes off Sunday, August 29th at 16:00 ET (4 pm)
