Cake Poker, one of the leading online poker networks, has announced its online poker promotions for the month of December 2010.

Online poker room Cake Poker (www.cakepoker.com) brings back its popular Match & Win and Turbo Gold Card promotions, Champions League tournaments continue and Cake’s Aussie Millions online qualifiers wrap up.

Returning on December 1st, and running until December 12th, Cake Poker is bringing back its popular Turbo Gold Cards promotion. Every hour will kick off with Gold Cards rushing to the tables four times as often for 15 minutes. They'll resume regular speed until the half hour mark when double-time Turbo Gold Cards will strike for another 15 minutes.

To complement the return of Turbo Gold Cards, Cake is also bringing back Match & Win for the entire month of December. Match & Win is a fun and easy promotion where players can earn cash for their Gold Cards. Players simply redeem the Gold Cards they earn that month for cash by matching their cards to the Match & Win game board.

Both of these promotions are built around Cake Poker’s Gold Card Reward Program where ring game players earn randomly released Gold Cards. Players can collect these cards until they choose to redeem them in one of Cake Poker’s daily Gold Card tournaments or sell them for cash at The Exchange, a player-to-player marketplace in which players can buy and sell Gold Cards.

Also in December, Cake Poker continues its Champions League Tournament Series. The Champions League is an annual football cup competition for the top clubs in Europe. In honour of this beloved event, Cake Poker will host a nightly tournament on each day of Champions League matches; December 7 and 8. Players who cash in both tournaments will receive an extra $50.

December will see the close of Cake Poker’s Aussie Millions satellites when the last final takes place on December 19th.
