Online Poker: Phil ‘OMGClayAiken’ Galfond Takes Isildur1 for $1 Million

Online poker phenom Viktor “Isildur1” Blom’s unprecedented hot streak has come to an abrupt end this past weekend.

Blom won an amazing $1.3 million last Tuesday alone.  Much of those winnings came against another big name online player Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond.

But Galfond managed to turn the tables on Isildur1 Sunday, winning a cool $1.07 million.

HighStakesDB.com showed some of the highlights from Sunday’s play:

With the pre-flop raising war it's possible this hand was a bad beat for Isildur1 as Galfond turns top full house and gets paid off - $263.6k pot

Isildur1 obviously misses a big draw as OMG wins this $226.8k pot uncontested on the river

Cooler for Isildur1 as Galfond shows the bigger turned straight - $220.5k pot

Galfond has been on a hot streak, winning a total of $1.6 million over the course of the past week.
