This December 2011 holiday season popular online poker site, Cake Poker is running a gold theme across several holiday promotions including the $50,000 Gold Card Wrap-up, Turbo Tuesdays and Guaranteed Satellites. Additionally, Aussie Millions and Super Poker satellites continue in December.
The $50,000 Gold Card Wrap-up is a tournament series that gives players a chance to use all of their Series 2011 cards in weekly tournaments boasting prize pools ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. Each week in December will have its own suit of Gold Cards assigned to it and will see players use the relevant suited cards that week to compete in daily satellites that lead to a weekly final. Moreover, players will be able to enter the weekly suited finals directly through Match & Win instant tourney tickets and by buying the necessary cards directly from Cake Poker’s reward trading service, The Exchange.
Turbo Tuesdays award Cake Poker ring game players by releasing Gold Cards at triple speed on every Tuesday of December and helping them to take advantage of other Gold Card dependent promotions like the $50,000 Gold Card Wrap-up, Match & Win and The Exchange.
Gold Chip Satellites are multi-table tournaments that award the top five players with seats in Cake Poker’s Sunday $15,000 or $25,000 Guaranteed tournaments. Satellites for each tournament have just a one and two Gold Chip buy-in respectively. The Super Satellites qualifiers similarly qualify players to the same tournaments but have $3 and $5 buy-ins respectively and guarantee a minimum five seats each. Both sets of satellites have Rebuys and Add-ons.
The 2012 Aussie Millions satellites will conclude this December with the final $16,000 main event prize package being awarded on December 18th. Meanwhile, the Super Poker Event of Europe 2012 satellites continue through the whole month as players jockey for one of the many seats being awarded to what may become the biggest poker tournament ever held in Europe.
