Back in June, Americas Cardroom announced its first series of Satellites to another land-based tournament—its signature tournament, Punta Cana Poker Classic. The US-friendly online poker room selected June 10th and June 24th as the dates to giveaway the first Premium Packages.
Hundreds of players battled thought out the month playing the low-cost super satellites to win a seat to the nightly tournament; players who won both tournaments earned a seat into the Main Event on Sundays. Cash worth up to $300 was awarded to multiple winners. Players also joined the main event through a direct buy-in of $250+$5.
The first 9 runner-ups: BadGambl3r, Black Xiphias, C4aK03A, Cbolt21, Dont Cry, Felipao, Mime413, Plutarco and STFU Donny won their $5,000 Premium Package to the 2012 Punta Cana Poker Classic.
Each package includes one Main Event seat, 6-nights hotel accommodation for two, all-you-can-handle food and drinks (alcohol included) for two, airfare up to $800, a $1,500 resort credit, along with a number of other activities, all designed to create an incredible poker vacation no matter how far into the tournament the winner goes.
For the third year in a row, Americas Cardroom is offering premium packages to the Punta Cana Poker Classic; the land-based tournament is offering a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000, to be held in the Dominican Republic, October 12-18, 2012 at the marvelous Hard Rock Spa & Casino Punta Cana.
