National Heads Up Championship Returning to NBC in 2013: More Poker Tournament News

The National Heads Up Championship is returning to Caesars Palace Las Vegas January 24-26, 2013 following a year-long absence.  This event will be broadcast on NBC. 

Mori Eskandani, head of Poker PROductions, will once again be heading up production.

The NBC Heads-Up Championship is an invitational tournament with a $20,000 buy-in.

WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Updates

Alan Cutler of Chicago, IL won Event 6 at Harrah’s Resort in AC for $23,504. Cutler previously finished fifth in a $2,000 buy-in event at the WSOP in 2008 for more than $220,000, but he says the ring means more than the money to him these days.

WPT Prague Updates: 

273 players entered on Day 1c ot the WPT Prague event, creating a final player pool of 567. The end-of-day chip leader was Yannick Bonnet while the overall chip leader entering into Day 2 was Mikhail Mazunin.
