For those in the online poker community who believe Absolute Poker and UB.com were about to run off with all their money following the indictments of April 15, their latest action seems to contradict this scenario.

Absolute Poker and UB.com have informed Gambling911.com that they have paid the rakeback to all players, both US and non-US, for April 2011.

Gambling911.com Senior Editor Payton O’Brien:  “This shows that they are making an effort to pay customers while funds are still tied up with the US Justice Department.”

US players still await payment for what is owed total in their accounts but this latest move does seem to suggest that Absolute Poker will not just shut its doors and it also demonstrates they can now send payments to US customers.

The company has advised Gambling911.com they will keep us updated with any further developments.
