World Poker Tour Executive Director Matt Savage apparently mocked another poker player's losses, or something along those lines.  This in-fighting among players is difficult to follow sometimes but still make for great reads on your favorite site for all things salacious, Gambling911.com.

Matt, by the way, seems like a great guy and the last we'd think would be embroiled in one of these feuds.  Stay tuned as we list a few fun poker fights from just the last week below.

The player in question angry at Savage is one Allen Kessler.  Savage and Kessler apparently are not on the best terms (Savage hss him blocked on Twitter and says that's been the case now for years).

Kessler asked via Twitter if it was acceptable for Savage to "mock him".  Savage issued an apology (we think) but Kessler was unable to see it apparently as he is blocked.

It's like fighting between two ghosts.

From Kessler:

"Hey @pliska007 @AngelicaHael is it acceptable behavior for your Executive Tournament Director @SavagePoker to openly mock one of your best lifelong customers on social media?

"Ive been around this industry forever, and have been a @WPT Customer and player since Day 1."

Interestingly, the spat raised another issue.  How should poker winnings (and losses) really be tracked?

John Robertson wrote:

"I'll be honest, If the poker media wants to use Hendon Mob as a way to keep "score" of players, this should be the standard... why are we only tracking cashes and not events played. Nothing against Allen specifically, but I think this is what HM should ACTUALLY track."

And still others weren't feeling any pity for Kessler.

Aaron Barone asked:

"I’m confused, why is posting someone’s public results — someone who routinely shames others for their lack of results — mean and unnecessary?"

Dallas writes:

"God everyone is so soft these days. Allen shames people daily about their Hendon mob. A little jab back is more than fine. Especially at his mark up he sells at."

So in case you haven't been keeping score, the poker spats have been pretty wild over the past week.  We should have lines posted.

Matt has since explained the matter further...
