LSOP Announces Cities and Dates for LSOP Millions 2014 Day 1 Flights

San Jose, Costa Rica – The LSOP Millions kicks off July 27th with a whopping 16 Day 1 events, allowing more people than ever to play in the land-based series. And poker players don't have to leave home to be a part of it.

LSOP Management today confirmed there will be 8 countries hosting Day 1 events, starting July 27th. Poker players can play on Day 1 in various cities around the world, including Brazil and Argentina, which are new to the lineup this year.

"We're heading back to all our favorite LSOP Day 1 spots, plus we're thrilled to add two new countries to the list," stated Diego Chan of the LSOP. "With more flights in more cities, we're on track to easily surpass the guarantee."

The LSOP Millions is a $1 million Guaranteed poker tournament set to get underway September 13th in Panama. But poker players can take a seat in a Day 1 flight starting July 27th. The LSOP is spreading Day 1 events across eight different countries, including Panama, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, and Chile. Also added to the lineup for the LSOP Millions II Day 1 circuit are Brazil and Argentina.

The Main Event will once again feature a $1 million guarantee and follow the re-entry format. Players can enter a Day 1 event for $850 and those who survive Day 1 in their own city will move with their existing chip stack to Day 2 in Panama this September, having already made the money.
