LPS Millions II Poker Tournament With $1 Million Guaranteed: Limited Time Only
San Jose, Costa Rica – Online qualifiers at the Winning Poker Network for the upcoming LPS Millions are over, but poker players still have a number of outs if they want to take a seat. Americas Cardroom today confirmed that poker players can still buy in to the $1 million tournament onsite in Panama for $750+$100 or purchase a $2,050 package in advance.
"In March, we saw a number of players head to Panama, fork over the $850 buy-in, and reserve their seat at the event," stated Diego Chan, President of LPS. "We want to remind the entire poker community and players all over the world who missed one of our online qualifiers that they can still join us for the million-dollar event."
LPS Millions II, to be held at the Majestic Casino in Panama from September 13th through 20th, 2014, will feature 20 land-based poker events, an increase from the 15 events that packed the inaugural tournament's schedule. The Main Event will once again feature a $1 million guarantee and follow the re-entry format.
Over the last few months, poker players had the chance to enter Day 1 events at home, in advance of the Panama Main Event getting underway. LPS hosted Day 1 events in various Latin American countries, including Panama, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Chile. Poker players who made it through to a Day 1 event in locations around the world will move on to Day 2 in Panama, which takes place on Wednesday, September 17th. The final Day 1 events will be held on September 14th, 15th, and 16th.
Poker players who made it through Day 1 in their own backyard will travel to Panama with their chip stack intact and resume Day 2 play. Players who sit down to play Day 2 will head to Panama knowing that they have made money. But poker players who missed the boat are far from being shut out of the event.
