Joe Tehan has won the 2010 North American Poker Tour Los Angeles (NAPT) tournament after a grueling several days of play that kicked off with 701 participants.  Tehan wins $725,000 as a result.

The win propelled the Las Vegas resident past the $3 million mark in lifetime tournament earnings and was the second biggest win of his career.

"This was a great experience. The turnouts at NAPT events have been getting bigger and bigger. I mean, this is a $5k tournament with over 700 players. I don’t play much outside of Vegas or L.A., so to get a turnout like this in L.A. was good. I was excited to come down and play and I’m glad I did.”

Tehan was a poker-made millionaire by the age of 25. Born in Utica, New York, Tehan, Now 30, is engaged and plays golf in his spare time. Tehan owns a WPT title (Mandalay Bay, 2006), has 17 money-finishes at the WSOP and had earned more than $2.3 million tournament winnings throughout the course of his career leading up to this event.
