Jessica Chastain Receives Golden Globe Nomination for Molly’s Game Role

Jessica Chastain dazzled in a low cut blue gown at the Amsterdam premier of Molly’s Game, which could end up being the best poker film ever (until now it’s been Rounders).  Chastain was nominated the night before for a Golden Globe.

Chastain had this to offer regarding news of the nomination:

“To be honest, I'm mainly surprised about my nomination. As an actor, I have a lot of fear, thinking that if I speak my mind, or something that feels like it deviates from the norm as a woman, am I going to be made to disappear in my industry?”

So far the film has received an impressive 85% positive reviews on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.

Aaron Sorkin makes his directorial review here.  Molly’s Game is scheduled for limited release in the United States on December 25, 2017, before going wide on January 5, 2018.
