Jason Mercier NAPT Los Angeles

The second biggest chip count went to poker pro Jason Mercier at the 2010 NAPT Los Angeles (The North American Poker Tour).  He and seven others have made the final table of this event and are each looking to claim the $725,000 grand prize.

In 2008, Mercier won the largest live poker tournament ever held in Italy: The EPT event in San Remo.  That one paid out $1.1 million and some change.  Mercier has an incredible 9 first place finishes and 42 cashes since 2008.  His live poker tournament winnings to date are nearing $5 million.

Christopher Demaci still led with 6283000 chips, which was well over what Mercier had (380000).

Ray Henson was the third biggest chip leader.  Henson has won close to $1 million in live poker tournaments to date, nearly half of which was won at the 8th Annual World Series of Poker Event #55 - WSOP No Limit Hold'em Championship, where he finished 12th.

Joseph Tehan may not be a household name.  He is among the finalist at the 2010 NAPT Los Angeles.  Tehan’s big win came at the Mandalay Bay Poker Championships / WPT Event Season 5: WPT Main Event - No Limit Hold'em, where he walked off with just over $1 million.

Michael Binger is also among the finalists and a hugely successful poker player.  His biggest win came at the WSOP No Limit Hold'em Championship WSOP FINAL in 2006 where he finished 3rd and walked off with $4.1 million and some change.
