Isildur1 Defeats PepperoniF

Isildur1 (aka Viktor Blom) has defeated fellow high stakes online poker player PepperoniF in the latest installment of PokerStars uber popular SuperStar Showdown Sunday.

Blom started the challenge strongly, and after taking an early lead never gave his opponent a chance to recover. Cao fought an uphill battle for most of the contest and saw the last of his $150,000 match bankroll disappear into Blom’s stack after only 2,257 of the scheduled 2,500 hands.

The match was a mix of $50/$100 No Limit Hold’em and $50/$100 Pot Limit Omaha, and Isildur1’s convincing win takes his overall high stakes SuperStar Showdown record to 6-2. The Swedish pro also has a 2-0 record against the online qualifiers.

The question now is: who’s next? A couple of players have publicly voiced their interest
