First World Series of Poker 2013 Event Will Award $850K

The Casino Employees event of the World Series of Poker 2013 drew 898 players, generated a $404,100 prize pool, and will award the winner almost $85K.

This is the first event of this year’s WSOP.

Event #2: No-Limit Hold'em / Eight Handed also kicked off Wednesday.

Over $700k and 36 WSOP seats were up for grabs just for signing up with the newly launched WSOP.com real money online poker site.
