The Final Latin Series of Poker Super Satellite Hits Americas Cardroom

It turns out the "LS" in LSOP stands for "last shot" for poker players looking to win their Latin Series of Poker seat. With the LSOP set to get underway this month, only a handful of guaranteed Super Satellites remain on the Americas Cardroom schedule. This Saturday marks the last 4-package guarantee of the month. If you are seriously considering attending the event, this is your best chance to win a package online.

"It's getting down to crunch time for poker players looking for the best shot at playing in the LSOP," stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "We're seeing huge demand, but we only have so many tournaments left on the schedule. This Saturday marks the last super satellite and we're not sure how many more we'll be adding to the schedule, based on room availability alone."

Saturday's guarantee for the LSOP gets underway at 7:30pm ET. The buy-in for the event is $140+12 and each $3,500 package includes: the $1,500+150 buy-in for the $500,000 3-day Main Event; Roundtrip airfare up to $800; 6-night hotel accommodation with breakfast and Wi-Fi access for two; airport-hotel-airport ground transportation in Lima; a player's welcome gift bag; exclusive access to the welcome party; and a direct connection to a 24/7 VIP helpline.

While it's possible that another guaranteed tournament or two might surface based on demand, Harris notes that players shouldn't waste any time. Due to increased demand among poker players from the US and South America, hotel rooms in Lima, Peru are booking up fast.

The first annual Latin Series of Poker took place in June 2012 at Casino Atlantic City in Lima, Peru. Canadian poker player Michael "The Punter" Nugent took the first place prize of $157,520 US, outlasting a field of 451 players. The total prize pool of $678,000 in 2012 eclipsed the $500,000 that had been guaranteed.

Qualifiers for this Saturday's 4-package Guarantee ($140+12) and the Wednesday and Saturday events are now live at Americas Cardroom and start from as low as $0.50.
