EPT Barcelona 2010 Prize Pool €3,790,000

112 spots will be paid for the EPT Barcelona 2010, it was determined on Tuesday with the top prize being €825,000.  A prize pool of €3,790,000 will ultimately be rewarded. 

A total of 302 players remained out of 495 during Day 1B.  The total number of players overall was 758.

Luis Rufas led the way late Tuesday as the top chip holder.  He is a local player who, to date, has only won the Barcelona Open PokerStars EPT- Season 6 in live tournament play.

US player Michael Binger had been holding onto the number 3 spot.  Binger is a big name player who has won close to $7million in live poker tournament play.  He finished 3rd at the 37th Annual World Series of Poker and walked away with over $4 million. 

UK player Roberto Romanellowas the 2nd  biggest chip leader and has won over a half million in live tournaments to date.

Norway’s Johnny Loddenwas in 4th place among the chip leaders late Tuesday.  He is one of the most recognizable faces on the EPT tour.
