Davidi Kitai Wins 2012 EPT Berlin

Belgian poker player Davidi Kitai has won the 2012 European Poker Tour (EPT) Berlin. 

The 32-year-old from Brussels went heads-up with Andrew Chen to take the win and €712,000 cash. 

“It’s amazing to win! I’m feeling great. I didn’t expect to beat that field and it was a very tough final table. I’m going to celebrate with all my friends in Belgium, and in France, and we’re going to celebrate in Monte Carlo for sure.”

This was Kitai’s second EPT final – he came in third at EPT Barcelona in Season 5 for €455,000.

A total of 745 players took part in the EPT Berlin event with 112 receiving payouts.
