Daniel Negreanu, Eric Seidel World Series of Poker Odds

Daniel Negreanu is one of the most successful poker players of all time and among the most outspoken, and so too is Eric Seidel, though not nearly as outspoken.

Canada’s US transplant, Negreanu, recently announced his intention to relocate from Las Vegas back to his home in Toronto following recent attempts by the US to stymie online poker in the States.

Negreanu will be attending the 2011 World Series of Poker, nonetheless, and his odds were set at 40/1 across the board where he is the favorite to win along with Eric Seidel.

Negreanu (also known affectionately as “Kid Poker”) has won close to $15 million in live tournaments over his long poker playing career.  New York-born Seidel has won over $13 million in his career.

Phil Ivey is typically made a favorite to win the World Series of Poker each year but announced his intentions to sit this one out.

The pros stand a better shot of winning in 2011 as do gamblers who are looking to place bets on these individuals since the field of amateurs is likely to be limited in light of the April 15 indictments against Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and UB.com.  Those online poker rooms left the US market and will not be offering satellites to players in the States.
