We can’t make this stuff up and PokerNews Canada somehow managed to obtain video proof of the chipleader at this week’s Final Table of the Fallswview Poker Classic event being placed under arrest…..while the event was underway.

Poker player DJ Mackinnon first tweeted the news:

Chip leader of the $1100 at Fallsview gets arrested and taken out of the building during the final table…lol

The player in question was believed to be Alberta-based Harnam Singh Matharu.  A fight reportedly had ensued between Matharu and fellow poker pro Uri Miro over an alleged theft.

According to Poker News Canada, “the security cameras show a person believed to be Uri Miro in a black-and-white striped shirt returning to his room, opening the door, stepping in partially, and appearing to inspect his room from the doorway as he noticed something amiss.”

Another camera shows the fight continue as the two grapple with each other and disappear from the hallway into the stairwell which is off camera.
