(Malta) - Popular online gaming site, Cake Poker (CakePoker.eu) has launched Gold Card Race, a reward based leaderboard promotion that offers cash ring game players a piece of a monthly $30,000 prize pool. In addition, Cake is offering ‘no strings attached’ satellites to Series 2013.
Gold Card Race offers cash ring game players a piece of $30,000 April 10th through May 7th. Every Gold Card earned holds a ‘mile’ value based on its number, suit and the table stake it was earned at. Gold Card miles are tallied up on a weekly leaderboard which pays the top 200 Gold Card earners up to $500 cash.
Cake players can earn Gold Cards by participating in cash ring games of any stake or level. Gold Cards are randomly issued when the table reaches a pre-set rake amount, so while Gold Cards are rewarded at all table stakes, they are issued more frequently at the higher stakes.
In addition to Gold Card Race, Cake has launched a ‘no strings attached’ satellite series to Series 2013. Players can win $5,000 cash to play in their choice of side events or the coveted main event at the Series 2013 in Vegas or Paris. Daily satellites start at only 50c and offer players a seat in Cake’s inaugural Series 2013 $5K Final playing Sunday, April 21st at 9 pm GMT.
