Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the home invasion of World Series of Poker Main Event 2010 winner Jonathan Duhamel.  He was the first Canadian to ever win the coveted WSOP Main Event bracelet and walked away with $8.9 million US.

A Rolex watch and the diamond encrusted bracelet were among the items stolen from Duhamel’s home in the posh suburb of Longueuil just outside of Montreal.  The Rolex has been recovered.  The bracelet has not.

Duhamel was badly beaten during the brazen home invasion.

The below news is as of Thursday December 29, 2011 11:30 am EST.

From the CBC:

The watch has now been recovered, police said, but the bracelet is still missing. They did not comment on if any cash was recovered.

“Investigators received information from the public and with this information they were able to arrest a 20-year-old woman Saturday night,” said Const. Mark David of the Longueuil police.

She was charged with five offences including conspiracy.

Then on Monday a 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were arrested in Pointe-Claire in connection to the case. They appeared in court Wednesday charged with breaking and entering, robbery, assault and forcible confinement.

As of Thursday morning, no charges had been laid against the 20-year-old.

“Investigators are still questioning the fourth suspect to find out who did what in this case,” David said.
