Brandon Cantu Finishes Strong at WSOP for UB Poker

Just a few weeks into joining UltimateBet's Team UB, Brandon Cantu is catapulting the leading online poker site's team of pros into the spotlight once again thanks to his final table appearance in Event #39 at the World Series of Poker.

For his second place finish in the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event that featured 2,715 players, Cantu earned $403,951, one of his biggest paydays since he started his illustrious poker career. By comparison, Cantu's 20th place finish in last year's Main Event earned him $257,334.

Cantu's biggest victory came in March of 2008 with a $1 million payday for dominating the WPT Shooting Star Championship Event 2. The poker world will be watching Cantu closely in this year's Main Event where he is expected to dominate a field of thousands.
