The much anticipated Annie Duke commissioned poker league has released its schedule for 2011.

The new tournament will be much like the PGA model in professional golf.

"This is incredibly pro-centric," Duke told The Associated Press. "This is the one piece that's kind of missing from the poker landscape right now, which is something for the best players in the world to compete against the best players in the world."

Players will participate based on their ranking as opposed to the World Series of Poker concept whereby just about anybody can enter.

A million dollars will be awarded to the winner.
