Online poker players no longer have to wait until the weekend for a 5-figure guarantee. Americas Cardroom today announced that its weekly nightly guarantee at 9pm ET is jumping to $10k. Up until now, Monday night's big tourney featured an $8k guarantee, and the featured nightly tourney from Tuesday through Friday stood at $7k.
We've seen our traffic steadily grow over the last few months, so the increase in guarantees was only a matter of time," stated Michael Harris, an Americas Cardroom spokesperson. "Of course, the increase in nightly guarantees is in addition to our already stellar lineup of guaranteed tourneys."
The nightly $10k joins a tournament lineup that includes a $10k Saturday night guaranteed tournament and a $50,000 guaranteed event every Sunday, not to mention several other guaranteed tourneys spread throughout the week.
The increase in guarantees shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anyone who's been following the flagship site on the Winning Poker Network. Americas Cardroom has consistently ranked at the top of Poker Affiliate Solutions' payment processing report—and September is no different.
