Americas Cardroom Giving Away Dream Car

Serious poker grinders who put in tons of action at Americas Cardroom could find themselves putting serious pedal to the metal in a $50,000 car of their dreams (car pictured is not the one you are going to win). The giveaway is part of Americas Cardroom's enhanced Elite Benefits program, which now includes a sixth military rank—5-Star General.

"The dedication of our players drove us to this," stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "The first player who reaches 3 million Rank Points before December 1, 2012 can choose any car up to $50,000 and we'll foot the bill. Anything with a value up to $50,000. It's theirs."

While the car gets awarded at 3 million Rank Points, the new 5-Star General status is granted to all players who reach 1 million Rank Points in a calendar year. 5-Star General comes with a ton of new benefits, including: Luxury packages to Punta Cana Poker Classic and Latin Series of Poker Peru valued at $10,000, a 5x Combat Point multiplier, access to exclusive 5-Star General merchandise at the store, and access to a $10,000 Cash Bonus in the store for 625,000 spendable points.

Launched in February and designed to put more money in more players' pockets than any other rewards program, Elite Benefits comes with a host of rewards for every real-money online poker player, and uses the dealt rake method to calculate points. That means that every player is rewarded Rank Points at the same rate—regardless of whether they contributed $10 or $0.50 in rake to a pot. The system, abandoned by competitors, is incredibly beneficial for hardcore grinders.

The second a poker player starts to play for real money at Americas Cardroom, they'll become a part of Elite Benefits. With the addition of 5-Star General, there are now six tiers to the program—Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, General and 5-Star General.

To move up in military rank, online poker players must earn a predetermined number of Rank Points per month. While earning Rank Points, poker players will also earn Combat Points, which can be swapped for things like tournament entries, poker vacations, high-tech gadgets, merchandise, and purchase cash bonuses at the Americas Cardroom online store.

As poker players move up in rank, they're given access to even more store rewards, and they'll earn special bonuses worth thousands in cash.
