America’s Cup of Poker Countries Advance: Venezuela, Canada, Brazil and Mexico

The third annual America’s Cup of Poker got underway at the Mantra Resort, Spa and Casino in Punta del Este, Uruguay.  Seven countries from across the Americas was represented with four advancing:  Venezuela, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.  Here pride is worth more than the prizepool 

A series of qualifying tournaments on PokerStars determined which countries would be represented in Uruguay, and which players from those countries would earn the right to represent their home nations at the ACP live finale.

The seven qualifying ACP teams (listed in the order they qualified) are as follows:

1: Canada 
2: Argentina 
3: Mexico 
4: Brazil 
5: Colombia 
6: Venezuela 
7: Rest of Latin America.
